In order to legally operate a snowmobile in the State of Minnesota, all persons born after 1976 must have a Snowmobile Safety Certificate in their possession.

The Sheriff's Water Patrol is offering classes for young people between 12 and 15 years of age during the 2007-08 Snowmobile Season. Your child must be 12 years old on and before February 29, 2008. Note: If your son or daughter is 16 or older and had not had a snowmobile safety course, then they should take the adult course.

The Hennepin Water Patrol will offer up to four classroom sessions this year. We suggest you sign up early to get the date you want. Check here to see current availability

You must pre-register for a class. No registrations will be accepted the day of the class.
