Click here for other classes.In order to legally operate a snowmobile in the State of Minnesota, all persons born after 1976 must have a Snowmobile Safety Certificate in their possession. The Sheriff's Water Patrol is offering classes for young people between 12 and 15 years of age during the 2007-08 Snowmobile Season. Your child must be 12 years old on and before February 29, 2008. Note: If your son or daughter is 16 or older and had not had a snowmobile safety course, then they should take the adult course. The Hennepin Water Patrol will offer up to four classroom sessions this year. We suggest you sign up early to get the date you want. Check here to see current availability. Registration InformationRegistration is $10.00. Fill out a registration form, print it out and sign it. Then send it with a check for $10.00 made out to Hennepin County Water Patrol and mail it to the following address: Hennepin County Water Patrol Youth Snowmobile Registration 4141 Shoreline Drive Spring Park, MN 55384 Please note that your registration is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email. If you do not have an internet connection, or if classes are nearly full, you can also come to the Water Patrol Office and register in person.
