The Water Patrol is looking for women and men over the age of 21, who want to make a positive impact on people that use the lakes and rivers of Hennepin County.
We are taking applications for the Class of 2007. We provide all the training, all you have to provide is a willingness serve.
If you are over 21, drug free and can pass a background check, get an application. (Note: Applications are taken year round, with interviews held in October, classes starting in November, and swearing in the following October.)
Many cities within the county have adopted specific ordinances to regulate the use of the lakes within their boundaries. We have gathered as much information as possible and listed it here. Before going out, make sure you know the laws.
